Long-lasting
At Golden Bay, a long-lasting tradition is still going strong. The Apple's Eye has a long history going back to 1923 when our great uncle Francis Bonello invested in "The Army and Navy Bar" mainly catering for the British Garrison, posted in the Ghajn Tuffieha Barracks. The very first dishes served were the traditional 'fenkati' (rabbit dishes) but later moved on to cater for the emerging tourist market in the 1950's with a more varied menu.
